Queen Agrona

This was her hill, she had claimed it, she was the only on ewho knew how to get to it. She was the queen of a country and she felt she had nothing. She had all of the power in the country yet she felt she had none. Why was someone who had so much, so alone? Well she had an amazing amount of responsibility, she had parents who were alwayhs on her about everything and she had no one that she could turn to to let it all out. I mean who was there all of her friends were below her, her parents...why would she talk to them, and the only other people around was her maids and bodyguards. What could she do...nothing. She was left alone. She had a responsibility to her people, but she ahd no responsibility to herself and that is just what she needed. Yet there was no one that could help out of her cage. She sat everyday on that hill and everyday she would dream of one day when her knight in shining armour would come and help her be the queen she was meant to be, but he never came. So pasted her days as Agrona Dawn, Queen of Italy.

Genevieve, a young lady in waiting for the royal familly entered the grand hall being followed by her brother, the royal families messanger, with the monthly update for the royal king. Genevieve stopped before the royal familly bowing then standing up staight.

"He is here my lord." She informed the king as her brother came to a stop behind her.

Smiling at Agrona with that friendly smile that just gleamed 'meet us in the courtyard later' she bowed once more turning and hurrying out of the hall.

Aeden bowed after his younger sister had left to face the king. He took a few paces forward towards the reigning King, Queen and their daughter.

"The knights are returning from france my lord, they shall be arriving in less then a week." He stated taking a few paces back to stand where he had before.

Giving a low bow giving their daughter, Agrona, The same grin his sister had before standing back up to turn and search for his sister.

Agrona just sat there in the throne room, waiting for her parents to dismiss her, but her parents just sat there and did not say anything. If she said anything about leaving her parents would kill her and send her to her chambers and then she would never get to go to the court yard, and see her friends. She had not seen them in almost a week, because she had spoken up about leaving the last little meeting the royal family had had in the throne room...She was finally free from her grounding but she was still not free fromthe throne room. She stood there waiting and waiting and waiting. Then outof no where she heard the sound she want to hear the most. "Agrona you are dismissed" her mother announced. Agrona practically ran outy of the room except fo the fact that her mother told her to walk, but as soon she was out of site she ran as fast as she could to the court yard, and there shefound her friends her best friends in the whole world, they were sitting there waiting for here, just as they promised.

"Agrona!" Genevieve Laughed loudly soon getting a glare from her brother reminding her that they weren't exactly aloud to mingle with the royalty in the way that they had been.

Genevieve pranced over happily hugging her friend. She laughed as her brother stared at them raising his eyebrow in that condescending way he always does when he feels left out or awkward.

"Oh, sorry Aeden..." Genevieve apologised as she walked over hugging him too.

As Agrona came into the courtyard Aedens face lit up to see his friend. He stood up slower than his sister shaking his head laughing to himself quietly. Looking up he raised his eyebrow not sure if he was hinting that they were still in the eyes of the palace guards and royal family, or if he was awaiting his greeting hug.
As his sister did this he shook his head with a laugh.

"Not exactly what I was expecting, but that's ok..." He said beneath the chuckles escaping his mouth as he hugged his sister back.

"My lady." Aeden said walking up to Agrona bowing slightly taking her hand to place a kiss upon it. Standing back up to look her in the eye.

"Tell me my lady, why would you choose two commoners, and not just commoners, but your servants none the less as your friends?" Aeden asked as his eyebrow quirked, "Not that I'm complaining, but just out of curiosity..." He added smiling slightly.

Genevieve Stared smiling remembering her brothers comments earlier in the servants kitchen during breakfast when he had told her that he felt like he was falling for the beautiful princess even though their parents had arranged marriages for the both of them.

"Aeden..." Genevieve butted in before her brother mentiond not meaning to be rude or upset their friend, "Oh, nevermind. Continue..." She said giggling sitting back down staring at the two.

As Genevieve watched her brother and best friend something in the courtyard caught her eye. She stood up slowly not wanting to draw attention to herself as she began to look around. She began to circle on the spot slowly looking around through the trees, bushes, and shrubs throughout the courtyard. Suddenly she heard a twig snap turning to face the way to the back gate.

"Aeden... Get the princess out of here..." She practically ordered as her heart began to beat faster, "I don't want you to start asking questions, just get her out of here..." She ordered once more as her brother took Agrona back inside suddenly not asking why, but knowing that there was a good reason.

As Genevieve stood there staring in the direction that the twig had snapped.
((Add on to that last little sentence, I don't know if it should be someone that Genevieve likes or if it should be a danger.))

As agrona got rushed into the great hall, agrona caught a glimps of a boy. It was the blacksmiths apprentice, what was he doing here. Agrona stopped and stood there stationary, planted to the ground. She was fighting the ergeing of Aeden, just watching and listening. She had heard geniveve talk of a boy that she had fallen in love with, but she never thought that it would be the one boy in the entire castle that she and Aeden both absolutly hated......Jerimiah......and then what she saw next absolutly shocked her.(you guys decied if she kisses him or slaps him.)

Genevieve sighed with relief to see Jerimiah. Smiling she walked him. Staring at him a few moments she brought the back of her hand up to the side of his face.

"How could you scare me like that!?" She shouted at him as quietly as she could, "You really scared me you know that, you didn't have to go sneeking around in the bushes to come up to us..." She pointed out, "You could have simply come over instead of what you did..." She added pouting slightly trying as hard as she could to hold back a smile.

Leaning forewards to rest on his chest she sighed finally giving in to her grin.

"I missed you." She quietly hoping he wouldn't hear.

Turning to see what Agrona was looking at and saw Jerimiah.

"What is he doing here?" He asked Agrona holding back the urge to go ask him himself, "Why isn't he off at work?" He asked staring at the boy standing before his little sister. As he watched he saw her slap him.

"That's my sister." He laughed as a grin grew. As he watched and heard her shouting at him he simply smiled at her. As soon as she leant forewards onto him he tried as best he could to go in there, drag his sister out and hit him. Unfourtunatly he failed.

Walking into the courtyard once more he pulled back his sister, punched Jerimiah and started dragging her out.

Genevieve Practically screamed when her brother pulled her back. When he punched Jerimiah she couldn't take it.

"Aeden, what are you doing!?" She screamed as he pulled her out of the courtyard. Looking back at the slight heap on the floor that was once the boy she had fallen for, she pulled her arm out of her brothers grasp.

"What do you think you're doing, let me be!" She yelled as she ran back to Jerimiah helping him up scowling at her brother.

Agrona needed to step in because Aeden was about hit Jerimiah again, she could see it in his eyes. She ran to him and looked into his eyes and told him"you can't do this, because this time i can't save you and keep you at the castle..." Agrona had already stood up for Aeden once before, when he had let his anger get the better of him. A prince from France had come over to try to win my hand but instead he had made a enemy with Aeden and Agona had to tell her parents that the Prince had tried to make her sleep with him and Aeden had saved me. It had worked but at a cost, Aeden could not loose his temper and if he did he would be banned from the country. She could not tell if he would let it go, but she woud not find out because then she turned to Geniveve and the blaksmiths apprentice, and after making sure Jerimiah was okay told him that if he said anything to anyone about what happened, he would be banned from the castle. She also told him "You need to make up a story about like being hit in the face by a horse or something" and he turned and ran away. She then turned to face Geniveve, "how could you? You what happened between him and me, you know that he hurt me more than anyone..." she started. "Hold on, he broke my heart, for you....He left me because he fell in love with you?" "Why didn't you tell me" she said as tear started to pour out of her eyes. " How...could...." She turn and ran into the castle and in the back of her mind she hoped tha Aeden would come after her, but she was almost positive he would not.

Aeden stared shocked as Agrona ran out of the courtyard. Turning back to his sister scowling at her he opend his mouth to speak.

"You never told me that she was involved with him!" He yelled angrilly mostly because he felt a slight bit of jealousy forming inside of him, and partially because he hated Jerimiah, "How could you hurt her like that!?" He continued to yell.

Genevieve stared in shock as well as she ran out crying. About to run after her, her brother turned scowling at her.

"I knew just as much as you did about the matter, and don't lecture me on things like this when you very well what father would do if he found out about-" She began to say but was cut off.

Aeden cut in still frowning, "Don't you dare bring any of that up, and you're also one to talk!" He spat, "You're in the exact same situation as I my dear sister..." He told her turning to leave.

Genevieve stared in shock as her brother began to leave.

"Please, Don't do like mom did!" She cried, "I don't want to lose you too!" She pleaded running up behind him grabbing his arm, "You're the only one I have left..." She aded staring into his eyes.

Aeden stopped to listen to his sister a few moments before going off to find Agrona.

"You have Jerimiah, go to him for comfort for once... I won't tell dad or your fiance..." He told her as he turned pulling away leaving her standing there.

It took Aeden a while to get up off the floor and push away the guilt of what he did to his little sister. He stood up and began to wander in the direction that he thought Agrona had gone. As he was walking he came to a door and inside it he heard sobs and figured it was her.

"Agrona?" he called knocking on the door.

Genevieve began to cry once her brother had left and she just sat on the floor doing so. She heard a noise behind her thinking it was Jerimiah.

"Just come out and say what you want, I'm not in the mood right now Jerimiah..." She tried to say through her sobs. As she turned to look at him she say a man, but it wasn't Jerimiah.

"Agrona, open the door." He pleaded, "It's me, Aeden." He told her hoping that she would open the door.

He came walking up behind Genevieve smiling with what he had hoped was a gentel smile.

"Hey there." He said walking to stand before her, "I'm back." He said smiling. As he stood before her he helped her to her feet embrassing her.

"Your father told me to return for the marriage arrangements, so I did." He explained looking down at her, "Now I don't know if that was a good thing or not." He admited wiping the tears from her face.

Genevieve stared in shock to see her fiance for a few moments. And to think she had just been talking about this situation with her brother. Feeling grateful that someone was there to comfort her she followed his leading gestures and stood up allowing herself to be held by the slightly older man.

"Tysoul, I didn't expect you to be here so soon." She told him, "Father said that you would be returning from Ireland, but he never said when." She told him. Feeling nervouse about the position that they were in she looked around to make sure no one aspecially Jerimiah could see them.

"Wait, if you're back then that means..." She started but paused a moment, "That means your sister is back too." She added remembering her brother and Agrona.

Why was she sooo mad at Geniveve, She had done nothing she had fallen in love with the one person that was cruel anyways. She could not cry over this, she was a princess, if her mother had come into the room right now she would be in a load of trouble for crying, so hse dried her eyes, stood up and walked to the door. She opened it and there in the door stood.......(you can continue, make it interesting!)

Aeden stepped forewards pulling agrona into a large embrasse holding her tightly.

"I don't know what my sister did wrong but I don't want something silly like this to ruin our friendship." Aeden began to say rubbing agrona's back, "To Genevieve and I you're like a sister." He stated holding on hand to her back and the other to the back of her head holding it to his chest as his forehead met the top of her head, "More so tp my sister than me, but we're like family, please don't ruin that for us." He told her trying to calm himself down as he did this as well.

"We love you Agrona." He added kissing the top of her head.

She could not rap her head around it...she stood there in his embrace and she felt happy, she felt protected, she felt loved. Then he said it, we love you like a sister, and her heart sank, she felt like crying, she could not run away again. He kissed her head and her heart raised a little, but she wanted more...She loved him. She knew it know, she had always loved him and now she knew, he did not love her the same way. She pulled out of the embrace "thanks" "well i have to go get ready for dinner..." she turned and disappeared into the castle.

Not wanting her to leave so soon unsure of what he had said tried to stop her.

"Agrona, wait please!" He called jogging after her grabbing her hand and spinning her around capturing her lips with his own. Not wanting to let this moment end Aeden held the back of her head in place gently with one hand and held her closly around the waist with the other.

His kiss was warm and filling. She savoured that to the best of her ability. She just tood there taking it all in. As he pulled away, she said"I love you!"
